Hello everyone,
You may have noticed that I haven’t posted since January 2nd. I put up my ROW80 goals on that day and then came back to work on the 3rd. Let’s just say I’ve had a few work projects converge at basically the same time. Add to that a couple of personal things that need taking care of, and there just doesn’t seem to be enough time in the week to get my writerly work done.
I let a few people know about this, and my Canadian buddy Natalie Hartford suggested I do a quick post to let you guys know that there’s a reason I’ve dissappeared for a while. Thanks Nat.
I suspect it will be around the end of February before I can get back in the swing of things again. I appreciate your patience, and I’ll try to promote my buddies as much as time allows over the next few weeks.
You guys rock, and I really appreciate all the support and encouragement you give me. Keep rocking, and I’ll see you as soon as I get these projects back under control. Here’s a nice tall glass of iced sweet tea to sip on while I’m gone. Refills are on the front porch, as needed.

Hey Kerry – you know we are all here waiting for you. Life does tend to interfere from time to time! Thanks for the refills … sending support karma. ~clink~
Take care and we look forward to your return!
Awwww…thanks for the shout out!!
Here’s to getting the work stuff cleared up…we’ll all be waiting for your return but no rush – no pressure. Life happens…take care of you!
~clink~
We all deal with an unexpected events here and there. Take care of everything that needs your attention. We all will be here when you come back!
All the best!
I feel you, Kerry…go take care of bidness so you can come have some of my famous blackberry cobbler on that front porch of yours.
Thanks for letting us know. What’s that old saying, “life is what happens when you are making other plans” or something equally profound?
We’ll see you when things get straightened out!
Thanks guys. I said you rock, and I was right.

Sorry to hear about the mass of work projects, Kerry. I’ve been there and it can be a mental drain and time sucker for sure. Take care of you and what you have to do. We’ll be here on the porch waiting. Though, you shouldn’t have left the pitcher of sweet tea unattended…(gulp)…~clink~
All good, bro. Thanks for the heads up and we’ll be waiting on the porch for ya when you wander back this way
Thanks for the heads up, Kerry. Hope your work goes well.
Take your time Kerry! We’ll be here when you get back:)
Best of luck, Kerry. I’ll look forward to your return. I’m sure I will be thirsty.
We’ll keep the porch light on for you, Bro and some sweet tea ready for when you’re back in full swing. Until then, do what you need to do and know that we’re here for you.
Hang in there! I hope everything goes smoothly.
Hope you get things squared away soon so you can come back to us! I’ll pass on the sweet tea though *g* — never liked the stuff!
Good luck, buddy, and take care.
Some rascal, named Sir Samuel Zeus Clemons or @Samuel_Clemons on Twitter said I should read PiperBayard’s Blog Post, something about “The World’s Largest Breasts Save Man from Drowning” or something like that. And when I get here, Kerry it’s about you not writing.
I edited a morning stockpicking website for 6 years. It was great! Picked a few winners, really, but it’s not easy getting up religiously at 4am and reading 6 or 7 newspapers, then putting together a daily.
I note there have been a few others who were on this scheduled writing path that have fallen off their schedules as well, and I won’t name them. But sometimes that is what happens. I now don’t make any more resolutions about the number of blog posts I’ll write, or care for that matter.
If someone’s blog is the center of their online image, if that is the epicenter of their online imprint, than of course it’s vital to their lives. We have to prioritise, factor in other meaningful, fruitful and powerful tools that we use. I for one have a huge following on Twitter, and not so much on my blog. I am irregular with it, I am not disciplined. So, as long as I maintain my Twitter, than I can drive as much traffic and as many hits as the entire population of most cities!! What exactly do I need to blog for? It’s just a way to pass along free tips, give back, and have some fun for me. But for others, it is their small city. They get more readers by writing for TechCrunch, the WSJ or their blog than they have Twitter followers.
Anyway, I am just rambling along here. I still didn’t find the story about the large breasts.

Kerry, just when I got the chance to stop by and visit your blog you would know you’d be gone. LOL! That’s my timing alright.
I do hope that you are able to get everything done and in place so that you can push forward and come back. I have been making it one of my goals to get by and introduce myself to the wana clan. But I’m sorry I missed you. I’ll come by for some of that sweet tea that you were talking about some other time. Take care.
Sounds good, Karen. Things are still pretty crazy, so it may even be longer than I expected that I’ll be out of pocket. Thanks for stopping by. ~clink~
