Hello and thanks from dropping by my blog. I write about The South and have just started my writing journey. I hope you get a sense of who I am and how I write by following my blog and the links I provide to other sources I think are interesting, funny, and unusual.
I’ve written poetry, songs, and short stories for quite a while, but I’ve recently started writing novel length books. I’m thoroughly enjoying the process and the amazing people in the writing community.
I’ve lived in Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, and Illinois. I currently reside in Missouri with my southern belle wife of 33 years, Sheila. While being in The South is great, BEING southern is a state of mind and can be taken anywhere.
My wife and I are staunch Tennessee Titans fans and still drive to Nashville for every home game. We enjoy going back there for the games and to visit our parents and our daughter. Our other interest is our spoiled rotten Yorkshire Terriers, Annie and Clooney. I’m sure they’ll be featured in a future post or two.
I appreciate you stopping by, and I hope you enjoy my posts. If you do, please sip on a virtual glass of sweet tea and leave a comment. ~clinks glasses~ Cheers
Hi Kerry,
Glad to have found your blog and will definitely be back for more! Your TItans are coming to see my (floundering this season but still much-loved by me) Steelers this weekend so cheers to a good game!
Another Steelers fan. I’m actually doing a guest post at Clay Morgan’s blog on Friday about my Titans. He’s running it because he’s a Steelers fan, and he warned me ahead of time there would be some smack talk involved. I told him that’s fine as long as he doesn’t block my responses back.
I’m glad you found my blog too Hawley. Thanks for the visit. ~clink~

Kerry, I guess this would be as a good time as any to break the news to you. I, too, am a member of the Steeler nation.
